We seek an experienced Test Lead to join our Platform Engineering team in Bangalore, with the following key responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Customer Success Team and Development Team to ensure that software solutions meet customer expectations
• Lead the Testing Team and conduct thorough review of all test cases to ensure that software bugs are detected and resolved before the software is introduced into production

• Perform troubleshooting of test cases, analyse software test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall Software Testing process

• Communicate the results of software testing efforts, escalate risks / issues that may arise and suggest areas of improvement to the Management and other stakeholders
• Providing inputs on improving the company’s suite of product solutions

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software testing methodologies and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), if necessary
• Develop and implement the Testing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) related to Defects, Productivity and Requirements Management
• Identifying and delivering relevant Quality-related training needs for the Testing Team

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 5-6 years of experience as Test Lead or managing a team of software testers
• In-depth knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies
• Solid understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL Database. Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate database results
• Hands on experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tool(s)
• Experience in Core Banking Platform(s) / Financial Markets / Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain
• Demonstrated experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and Incremental/Iterative Software Delivery methodologies.

• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills to manage testing activities across multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills, analytical soundness and data analysis acumen
• Ability to tailor presentations to different audiences, and confidence in delivering information effectively

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• A relevant software testing certification such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE), ISTQB Agile Tester Certification or Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
• Basic understanding of programming languages like Java and C++
• Familiarity with different Test Case Management and Testing tools
